A native of Rankin County, I grew up playing baseball like many local area kids, spending every Saturday at the baseball fields. I am a graduate of Northwest Rankin High School, and continued my education at the University of Southern Mississippi where I was fortunate enough to earn a baseball scholarship and compete in the College WS. I graduated in 2009, and returned to Rankin County to begin the next chapter in my life.

After spending a few successful years in the IT staffing industry, I was approached with an opportunity that changed my life, an Agent Aspirant for State Farm. I spent two years studying the values of State Farm, procedures, and how to provide great service to our customers. A year later I was fortunate enough to open up my own agency, in my home community of Rankin County!

I still reside in Rankin County, with my wife Christian Johnston and 3 beautiful children, Tatum, 15, Daniel Ross, 10, and Lynleigh 8. Outside of work I still continue to coach youth baseball. I am an active member of Pinelake Church, the South Rankin Rotary Club, and occasionally get to go hunting, if I ever have free time!
